Ashley & Roy {Wedding Day}

The final wedding of the season is always a little bitter sweet.  The wedding of Roy and Ashley could not have been any better to close the year!

I love truly adore these guys and their families.  I was not only welcomed, but invited and treated like a guest! =]

It was a cool, crisp yet beautiful day!

Sarah (http://www.idosignatureevents.com/) was given lead over details and planning and she did a suburb job! A great planner makes everyones day so smooth!

I have never hidden my love affair with bouquets and Ashley’s did not disappoint!

Roy was excited and a little nervous about what was next…….

There were also two more ‘first looks’ that I did not anticipate …… first with Dad:

Next for her Brother:

When Bride and Groom’s are deciding if they would like to do the ‘first look’ or not … I often hear the only worry if they do is that the moment when they walk down the aisle will not be as special.

I believe these photos would take any worry away!

Great captures by Katie:

The New Mr.and Mrs!

I loved that we had even more time after the ceremony to capture more portraits with the Bride and Groom:

Always a fun time with these two:

The reception was held at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, KY

Gorgeous .. absolutely Gorgeous Wedding Cake by Southern Confections

First Dance:

Their candy apple station was definitely a hit and stayed busy all night!!  Each guest could make their own and had their own special box to take home as a favor from Roy and Ashley’s Wedding!

The new bride just happened to be this little guys teacher at school … and while his mom lead the catering team, he danced the night away:

What an amazing end to an amazing day ………..

 Congratulations to Roy and Ashley!

I am sooooooooooo happy for the two of you! I am so blessed to also call you my friends and I look forward to staying in touch!

Jessie & Blake {Wedding Day}

On Jessie and Blake’s wedding, we woke up to robin egg blue skies and vibrant fall colors all around us!

The air was crisp, fresh and perfect for their meticulously planned fall nuptials!

I adore watching the interaction between a mother and daughter on wedding days.

The first look:

I loved the location we found close by behind the Church for photos!

Katie grabbed this shot of the bride’s bouquet in the cowboy boots the groom wore to the Church!

Such a Beautiful Bride! I loved these black and white images:

Another lovely detail shot by Katie!!

How awesome would be for your Mom to bake your wedding cake??  Yes!  True story!!!

Peek a boo!

Congratulations to Jessie and Blake!!  May you always feel this happy and loved every day.

Thank you for sharing your day with me!

Best Wishes to you!

Kenneth & Katie {lifestyle}

This is not the first time Katie has been on the blog, but generally it is something from behind the scenes and we are being silly!

Today is different!!

After Wedding season she and Kenneth drove to Monticello to spend the afternoon with me for their very own session!

There were plenty of laughs to go around and we had a great time!

When I sent Katie her gallery link, I made her PROMISE she would get a HUGE canvas of this one!  Love Love Love it!!!!!!

Thank you for all you do……. the never ending encouragement and support plus the friendship means the world to me!!!
