A Big Announcement!!

When a client sends you a message that they need your ‘help’ with a surprise announcement for their family not only does curiosity get the best of you, but who couldn’t be EXCITED!!!! =]

There was a catch though …. they made ME keep it a secret too! One that I was honored to keep and very blessed to be trusted with such important info!

Meet the Pyles family of 3 … plus 1!!

These photos were done before Christmas and given to their closest friends and family over the Holidays!

The news was finally posted a few days ago for the world to know and I felt like celebrating too!

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy for this sweet family and I look forward to watching their sweet family grow!!!!

When I hosted my Studio open house a few months ago, Sarah was the winner of my Complimentary Session! With the Holidays and a few rained out dates we finally settled on a sunny, but cool day to get together!

Sarah is a beautiful soul inside and out! She and I have become friends through our love of photography … and my love for coffee! =]

I believe the last time she told me she has lost a total of 66 lbs and I am sure that number isn’t correct now! She is dedicated and through her persistence and hard work she is working at her goal … to lose 100 lbs!

I have promised her we will re-shoot this session to celebrate and I can’t wait! So be sure to be looking for her on my blog again… Soon I am sure!! =]

Diamond Rings and Pretty Things January Bridal Show

This past weekend was the much anticipated Diamond Rings and Pretty Things Bridal Show in Lexington KY!

I love being a repeat vendor and seeing lots of friends and making new ones in our Wedding network!

It is also great to meet so many new brides and their families! What a busy day!!

Ashley & Roy {Wedding Day}

The final wedding of the season is always a little bitter sweet. The wedding of Roy and Ashley could not have been any better to close the year!

I love truly adore these guys and their families. I was not only welcomed, but invited and treated like a guest! =]

It was a cool, crisp yet beautiful day!

Sarah (http://www.idosignatureevents.com/) was given lead over details and planning and she did a suburb job! A great planner makes everyones day so smooth!

I have never hidden my love affair with bouquets and Ashley’s did not disappoint!

Roy was excited and a little nervous about what was next…….

When Bride and Groom’s are deciding if they would like to do the ‘first look’ or not … I often hear the only worry if they do is that the moment when they walk down the aisle will not be as special.

I believe these photos would take any worry away!

Their candy apple station was definitely a hit and stayed busy all night!! Each guest could make their own and had their own special box to take home as a favor from Roy and Ashley’s Wedding!

The new bride just happened to be this little guys teacher at school … and while his mom lead the catering team, he danced the night away:

On Jessie and Blake’s wedding, we woke up to robin egg blue skies and vibrant fall colors all around us!

The air was crisp, fresh and perfect for their meticulously planned fall nuptials!

I adore watching the interaction between a mother and daughter on wedding days.
